Because those are the kind of decisions I make when I have a choice between having a warm body in my arms or not.

Tagged along with Mer to a fundraiser-kegger. There were babes and old babes and their respective female counterparts which is always a lot of fun and not awkward at all. Although, I sort of knew this would happen via facebook event RSVPs but hey a party is a party. Sex degrees of separation, what!

Too cool for life.

I don’t know who this guy is, but he hates Passchendaele.

I think I’ll just cycle through all of Lakeview’s sandwiches until I find my fave. This is the chicken salad sandwich. I can’t decide between the tuna melt and this because they’re both good. And so, I guess I’ll have to order both next time.

I don’t know what went down but we saw some suits fistfighting each other and then cops came. As did camera crews. Yikersons.

Then I biked fer half an hour home at 4 in the morning and I was not a happy camper.

NXNE: Matt and Kim @ Wrongbar

My fave show all NXNE, Matt and Kim

Kim had been sick all day, her cure? “Pepto bismol and Budweiser”.

Lots of crowdsurfing. Audience at the front of stage were getting smashed into it. Very sweaty mess. Even pulled out the sound system cords at one point.

All of these photes sort of look the same. Whatever. Too busy shakin my groove thang to this fantasmically fun band. Love love loves!







Matt said he had the “most sweat on my body in 2009″, had to wipe down the keys to continue playing. I got up on stage to hand Kim some paper towels. Zexy.

NXNE: The Vibrants, The Framework, Birds of Wales

The Vibrants from the UK. Their myspace sounded pretty promising but the atmosphere at The Hideout was a downer. Stayed for one song and moved on.

The Framework at Rivoli was reco’d by many.

Lady in the band was a babe.

Skipped out with Benjamin Keith and met up with the rest of the Friends of Quails


Mike “Cobra” Caputo, it’s one of those inside jokes. You wouldn’t get it. Well, actually neither did I. All Morgan “Nutso” Ross’ doing.

Birds of Wales at Cabin. I was the only one dancing and singing along for a good while before the rest of the crowd stopped being ninnys and decided to have fun. Jeez.



Crap your hands while you wait “a few more days”.
P.S. I have a new fave Birds of Wales song, Winter reminds me of you. Listen to it. Love the chorus, moving shit.
